Imagine you are at a party, a conference, or even out for a walk. You meet someone. You get along really well. This could potentially lead to a date, a new job, or just a great friendship. As you part ways, this new person in your life says "Facebook me." and walks away. You are thinking, "great!", until you actually try to send them a friend request and discover there are actually too many John Smiths on Facebook, most of whom dont share their photos to non-friends. Then again, maybe their last name is spelled Smyth, maybe they didnt update where they live and like that, a potential great connection slips through your fingers.

Here’s a little more about how Friendthem works and why it’s valuable in today’s connection-driven world.

1. We are a "location based friend request" app.

2. We give people a chance to connect on the spot, and in "real time."

a. People’s lives are created through connecting with others.

b. We are the final frontier in connectivity. This is shown in the ease with which you simply touch your phone and a friend request is sent to a new connection. Friendthem allows on the spot connection. It is opening a door that you can walk through in the moment or later, ("Friendthem now" or "Friendthem later") but either way, the connection is made.

4. Friendthem is the most user friendly, unobtrusive way of expanding one’s personal or business connections. I am sure you are aware that if one wants to be friends with someone on Facebook, they have to go back to their computer or smartphone, type out the person’s name (correctly), and then they may or may not find the person, or they may be confronted with a sea of “John Smiths.” Friendthem ensures an immediate opportunity to send a friend request to a new connection, as all Facebook users (within a 1,500 ft. radius) with whom one is not yet “friends”, populate the Friendthem user’s smartphone screen, based on location.

Key features of Friendthem include:

•Mutual Friend Discovery – Locate fellow Friendthem users within the 1500 foot radius and see whom you might have mutual friends with and then, who they are.

•Your Privacy is Protected – Only your name, hometown and/or photo, depending on your preference, are ever displayed on Friendthem.

•Friendthem Now – Send a friend request directly to the person you want to be Facebook friends in real time.

•Friendthem Later – If you meet someone but are not sure you want to friend request them yet, you can put that in your history tab, allowing for time to think about it before making the actual request. Potential connections will never be lost.

•Friend Request Limit – A daily limit of 10 Friendthem based friend requests a day.
